It’s the [Sakura] time of the season

The weekend is coming when the madness that is Sakura will again grip Tokyo. These photos are from last year, of the beautiful sakura along the canals of Meguro.

This year we are planning on forking out a little money at the Hamarikyu Gardens, to avoid some of the crowds and to give our toddler a safer place to roam around. Unfortunately, good coffee will not be close by.

And here is one final pair of pictures, because this is still the same series of faces he pulls when he is telling a joke. The jokes (or funny tales, often about me getting off at the wrong station once on a certain train) are improving, but it is this face that always gets me. So serious.
